Opening ceremonies will be held at 5 PM on Friday, October 30th in Main Events. Open ceremonies is an event put on by the convention directors to introduce convention attendees to convention staff, guests, and update attendees on the convention schedule.

Blah blah blah blah GONG! That's right! This years cosplay contest will be done Gong-Show style! Join us as cosplayers just like yourself compete in one of the oldest known animecon traditions! The epic battles waged on stage by novice and professional alike, striving to take home the prize, or just make it past our gong, wielded by out mystery panel of judges, TBA closer to the con.
